We Outside is a strange thing to yell with confidence, mostly because outside is where the weather happens.
But I get it.
Sometimes leaving the house feels like an accomplishment.
Still, outside was never really the point.
Then Jadakiss says it, and everybody, allegedly, loses their mind.
Why? Because the phrase is not really about location.
It is about presence.
It is about being visible after being ignored.
Moving after being stuck.
Showing up after being told, directly or otherwise, that the room was not built for you.
That is where the phrase gets interesting.
Outside can mean freedom. It can also mean you are still standing near the door.
So yes, we outside.
But let’s not get hypnotized by the sidewalk.
The goal was never to conquer fresh air.
The goal was to find the door, open it, and walk in like we were supposed to be there the whole time.
Being outside is only freedom if inside was never the prize.
